Natural Stones

The pieces in O Belo Imperfeito are made with natural stones resulting from sedimentation processes in which minerals are deposited in the soil by water or wind and are compressed until they become stones.  Some stones are also formed through erosion when removing successive layers of rock, exposing minerals.
